Q's & A's

Some of the questions I get may be of general interest. Therefore, I shall attempt to answer some in this forum. Here is a recent one.

Question: What is your connection with Fred Wright? Why are you promoting his book, Behold Your God? He has been discredited.

Answer: I did not know the late Fred Wright. I never met him nor communicated with him. I did not know he existed until after discovering the message of God's character of love (COG) in Scripture and Spirit of Prophecy. His book, Behold Your God, which I knew nothing about until after discovering the message in the inspired word, contains this, God's last message to the world.

God never removes our free will. That Balaam, a prophet of God, could try to curse Israel, reminds us the sin option is always open. Perhaps we should all take heed lest we fall.

Keep in mind what Spirit of Prophecy says regarding the 1888 messengers: "It is quite possible that Elder Jones or [Elder] Waggoner may be overthrown by the temptations of the enemy; but if they should be, this would not prove they had no message from God, or that the work they had done was all a mistake. But should this happen, how many would take this position, and enter into a fatal delusion because they are not under the control of the Spirit of God" (MR 1152-6; emphasis supplied).

I don't think God would choose to use an individual who was actively engaged in sin. However, in the plan of God no one ever gives up his/her free will, not even those who may be used in a very special way. Satan takes advantage of our freedom by exercising his considerable powers to bring God's messengers into sin. What a coupe this is for him. Sin is a terrible, terrible thing. By endorsing Behold Your God, I hope all realize I am not endorsing sin in any form. Let us be followers of Christ, not of any human, and receive His messages from His word. Then, whatever humans may do, we will follow truth.

Let us be mature enough as Christians to focus on the message of Behold Your God and leave the messenger in the Lord's hands.
